So I'm coming back - I have UNFINISHED BUSINESS here at deviantART. Thou hast been warned!
This Christmas I bought myself 2 new consoles - SNES and N64 - and was given generously by a friend my favourite console of time - the Dreamcast! Over the last few weeks, through a combination of gifts, rescues and purchases I own every game I want to own for all those 3 consoles, as well as all controllers (yes, thats 10 controllers). There are a few missing links ... (for example, I have Skies of Arcadia on the Gamecube instead of DC, and Shenmue 2 on xbox not DC), but i'm all kitted up. Quite a lot of the stuff i've bought i've not played (or maybe just fiddled with at a friend's, or had a quick go on a ROM - WHICH DOESNT COUNT), so im overfilled with excitement. I hosted a house party after getting my SNES and DC and seeing the joy on jaded gamers faces, games they hadnt played before, makes me well up with pride that it wasnt just nostalgia that made me look at new games with a raised eyebrow, they genuinely arent as fun!
Over the last year I have become a massive, massive gamer again. I've virtually denounced Microsoft (despite having sided with them in 2001 with the demise of the Dreamcast), and found, shockingly, my real home is Nintendo - or indeed, maybe just Japan. It's not a retro thing, its a quality thing - I just think the Japanese know/knew how to make fucking amazing games!
And I want to make a change. And luckily I find myself in a position where I can best empower that need for change - to make a stand for all gamers who have been left behind, forced to accept dross in place of pure fun!
So anyway. No point to this update per se. Just this is a overflow of the last 28 years of me figuring out who the hell I am, and now confidently stepping forward knowing that and also more importantly, what I'm not.
There are sweeping changes happening in my sketchbook ... maybe the accumulation of years worth of intense personal study and development, but whatever reason, its happening. I'm excited to see how quick the takeover will be. I feel everything is turning on its head but for the first time im not apprehensive - im excited, more than i've ever been. I won't be uploading everything that I ever do - I'm not quite sure how it will manifest but I will go with whatever feels right - and whatever feels fun.

New Website and Facebook Page
Hi guys!
So I updated my website - just streamlined it to include all the relevant links and access to places i regularly post to and use! I had my old site sat there not doing a great deal so I thought i'd put it to use as more of a hub. The old one was very clunky and way too full of info - it was primarily used whilst i was looking for employment. Its quite easy to lose sense of direction on the internet these days! Check it out - much appreciated!

Also I finally caved and made a facebook page for my art - i'll be posting there as well as updates on projects and goings on. If you like my art and want to stay
